mid size tablet? or stupidly large cell phone?

Is it just me? Or does every image of some CEO holding up their new 7 inch iPad phone clone look like he is holding a clown phone? I mean just paint them yellow with red spots and make them squirt water when he answers it. Someone has to break with the rectangular shape and make these go from silly back cool again.
